Terms of use

1. What this app is

Bryandale Connect is a directory and contact route run by parent volunteers. It does not sell anything, hold payment details, or arrange work between a family and a business. Any agreement you reach with a business is between you and them.

2. Who may list

You may list a business you own or are authorised to speak for, and you must be a Bryandale parent, past parent, alumnus or staff member. Listings are checked by an admin before they appear. We may ask you to show proof that the business is yours.

3. What you must keep true

Your name, contact details, registration numbers, certificates and any claim about qualifications must be accurate and up to date. Tell us promptly if something changes — a lapsed insurance certificate or a closed business should be corrected or removed.

4. Endorsement

Bryandale Connect does not recommend any business. The School-approved supplier badge can only be set by the school, and it means the school has checked that supplier's documents for its own purposes — it is not a guarantee of workmanship, price or availability.

5. Using contact details

• Use contact details to get a quote, ask a question, or work on a school project.
• Do not add people to marketing lists, sell or export their details, or message people who have asked not to be contacted.
• Do not contact learners or use the app to arrange anything with a child directly.
• Do not print or publish a member's phone number without their permission.

6. Conduct

Be honest and be kind. No false reviews, no spam enquiries, no posting of other people's personal information, no impersonation, and no attempts to reach another member's private data. Admins can remove a listing, hide a review or suspend an account that breaks these terms.

7. Reviews and ratings

Where a listing shows Google reviews, those come from Google and belong to Google's own rules. Only the owner of a listing may ask for it to be changed, and only the school may change a supplier's status.

8. Your content

You keep what you own. You give us permission to show your logo, description and contact details as part of the service, and to let school users see your supplier documents for school procurement. You can withdraw that permission by taking a listing down or deleting your account.

9. No warranty

The app is provided as it is. We do not promise it will always be available or error-free, and we are not liable for a business's conduct, a quote, or work done. If something on the app misleads you, tell us and we will fix it.

10. Privacy and these terms

Our privacy notice explains what we collect and your rights. Together they are the whole agreement between you and the people running Bryandale Connect.
